During his time at Missouri State, Troy enjoyed many once-in-a-lifetime performance opportunities such as singing at the 2017 Presidential Inauguration for over 40 million people and performing as a soloist with the 2019 World Youth Choir in France and Portugal. He had the opportunity to be a soloist with the Grammy Award Winning ensemble, Seraphic Fire, at the Aspen Music Festival, one of the most distinguished music festivals in the world. He also performed as the Bass soloist for Mozart’s Coronation Mass with the Ireland Chamber Orchestra and has sung as a soloist on two professional choral albums.
In addition to his experience as a choral soloist, Troy has also enjoyed an extensive operatic career. Some of Troy’s favorite roles include Gaudenzio from Rossini’s Il signor Bruschino, Balthazar from Amahl and the Night Visitors, and the title role of Figaro from Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro. Troy has also received the honor of an invitation from Maestro Donald Palumbo to audition for the Metropolitan Opera Chorus in New York City.
Troy is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from UCLA. He is also a part of a small professional chamber ensemble and sings on many recording sessions for GIA, Walton Music, and Choristers Guild Publisher.
