Dylan was classically trained in the drum set growing up and earned his Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Performance, Drum Set from the University of Miami’s elite Frost School of Music, where he studied under legendary drummers Dafnis Prieto and Steve Rucker (The Bee Gees).
Percussionist and pianist Candy “is a fierce player with a very dramatic approach to performance and a theatrical flair,” said Pulitzer Prize-winning composer David Lang. Candy has performed at many prestigious venues throughout the U.S. and Asia, including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and Galapagos Art Space. With a deep passion for chamber music, she has performed with many world-class musicians, such as violinist Philip Setzer (Emerson String Quartet) and early music virtuoso Mark Cudek. Candy also actively commissions new works and has given numerous premiere performances, including works by Lukas Ligeti, David Kechley, and Andy Akiho.
